This client requested a ported box with a reasonably flat response.
Challenge accepted.
To manage a response curve that does not exceed a 3db peak, we played with box volume while still managing to tune it to 25Hz.

Hoffman's iron law states that you have 3 parameters. Deep base, small size and an efficient design. Of these you can choose 2. The other one will be sacrificed. Since the driver is already quite efficient, we went with small size and deep base sacrificing some efficiency. Doing this allowed a very good modeled response curve as can be seen in the image.

A 70 mm round port completes the design. Nice and large port with rounded edges to prevent port chuffing.
The enclosure was then covered in black acoustic mat and black vinyl, a layer of damping was added in the enclosure and a gold plated screw on terminal set since it ensure a positive connection and does not leak like the spring type terminals.
